We Do More Than Tutor...
U-Learn Academy, established in 1973, is a nonprofit after-school instruction center that serves children functioning on the first through eighth grade levels. The center offers instruction in the following subject areas: reading, mathematics, writing, and grammar; standardized test preparation; and study skills. Academic skills are determined and appropriate programs are developed on each student's unique pattern of learning.
What We Do
Our staff determines the academic skills of children and plans appropriate programs based on their special needs and skill levels. We diagnose the learning difficulties and then correct them. Individualized programs are developed to bridge the gap between where students are functioning and where they need to be.
We Build Self-Esteem and Confidence
U-Learn Academy provides an environment, where children can improve their academic skills and feelings about themselves. Educators work with students in a creative and enjoyable atmosphere. This allows students to work toward achieving their educational potential and to experience learning success.
